Pontiac G8 Receiver Rear Aux Audio/Video VIM RCA Input Cable

Description

This auxiliary input cable allows you to utilize the rear input on your factory Pontiac G8 2008- 2009 Blaupunkt receiver to hook up any type of media device that uses or can be converted to analog RCA. Some common uses are for DVD players, game systems, iPhones, android cell phones, Apple TV's, and add-on Bluetooth modules. These cables are assembled in the US with new, OE supplier parts. This includes OE receiver connectors and properly crimped terminals connections for a strong signal and high level of craftsmanship. The RCA cables are heavily shielded to help reduce any interference issues. Cables will come FULLY WRAPPED in Tesa tape to reduce noise against the inside of the dash and match OEM wiring. Cables are approx. 2.5 ft long which is sufficient for installs in the glove box area. Each cable is quality tested for continuity across all terminals before it is released for shipment.

PLEASE NOTE: The factory receiver will allow video input while in park or up to speeds of 2-3 mph. With further re-programming (commonly called a VIM unlock), video input can be activated while at speed. Using this cable alone will not unlock VIM. I do not support the software re-programming of the factory receiver. I encourage your to do your research online before deciding to purchase. This listing is for the input cable only.
