Kawasaki VN1500 VN1600 Mean Streak 11.5" Short Chrome Bobber Shocks

PLEASE NOTE! THIS SET OF SHOCKS WILL SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THE MOTORCYCLE.  IF THE MOTORCYCLE HAS BEEN ALTERED FROM STOCK, SUCH AS EXHAUST SYSTEM, REAR TIRE OR FENDER , IT IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE IF THIS LENGTH IS APPROPRIATE FOR THEIR APPLICATION.
These are new motorcycle rear shock absorbers.  The free length from eye to eye is 11.5" which is 2" shorter than the original 13.5" shocks. This will lower the seat height allowing for better footing and improved handling.  They have chrome bodies with chrome springs.
The springs have 5 tension adjustment positions.   The spring adjuster tool is also provided. The metal bushings are preinstalled for ease of installation. The green wire ties that you see in the photo are there to secure the bushings and prevent them from being lost. These shocks are ready to install as they are and require no further modification.
