Axxess AXGM-04 CAN bus adapter for GM Class2 vehicles from 2000 (with / without OnStar)
The Axxess AXGM-04 CAN bus adapter is required to the original factory radio or navigation system with an aftermarket radio as from Alpine to replace, Kenwood, Pioneer and other aftermarket equipment. Suitable for Buick, Chevrolet, Pontiac and other GM Class2 vehicles from 2000 with amplifier system, the adapter ensures various functions for, among other things:
Emergency call system "OnStar" & OE Bluetooth (if available)
Warning & beeps
Supports extended power (RAP) *

The Axxess AXGM-04 CAN-BUS adapter is required to replace the original factory radio or navigation system with a retrofit radio from Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer or other aftermarket equipment. Suitable for Cadillac STS 2005-2011, the adapter secures various functions for this purpose, including

You can always keep the adapter up to date with the latest software via a USB connection. The Axxess CAN bus adapter provides the following amplifier signals & functions for your audio system when retrofitting a radio / navigation system:

The special feature of these CAN bus adapters is that the "OnStar" emergency call system, already introduced by General Motors in the USA & Europe, is still available. This means that you never lose the life-saving emergency call function - "Safety first" - when changing the radio/navi.
More comfort with original steering wheel remote control
To continue to use the functions of the factory steering wheel remote control, you also need the appropriate steering remote control module (Axxess ASWC-1). This allows your new car radio, your AV Tuner, AppRadio or navigation system perfectly integrated into the vehicle.
